Governor Newsom needs to hear from as many individuals as possible. Whether you are a fishermen or woman, conservationist or one of the thousands of businesses that directly or indirectly rely on California’s salmon fishery to support your family, it’s time to call the Governor and let him know that he must let the State Water Resources Control Board do their job to protect cold water follows for Central Valley salmon, and to abandon salmon killing projects like the Delta Tunnel, Sites Reservoir and the Voluntary Agreements in the Bay-Delta Plan.

• Too much of the fresh cold water that once flowed from rivers in the Sierra Nevada to the Delta and Bay has been diverted.
• Infrastructure projects, such as the Delta Tunnel and Sites Reservoir that will further cause salmon declines, are funded by billions of taxpayer dollars that will massively increase water diversions.
• California’s Bay-Delta needs a plan that’s based on science rather than the demands of powerful water districts.
• We must have science-based updates would set aside more water to maintain our rivers and fish and force cities and industrial agricultural operators to use water more efficiently.
• Tell him how you, your friends or family are being impacted by salmon declines – personal stories are very impactful.
